The UNCG Jazz Faculty will be one of the performers during the 11th annual Collage event.

Collage: Bernstein at 100 kicks off the new academic year for the UNCG School of Music in spectacular fashion with our 11th annual performance on September 8. Leonard Bernstein has been hailed as one of the most prodigiously talented and successful American musicians and his impact on music and culture during the 20th century cannot be overstated. From compositions like West Side Story, to his work as music director of the New York Philharmonic, to his historic performance at the fall of the Berlin Wall, Bernstein touched nearly every aspect of life worldwide. This performance will pay tribute to his tremendous legacy.

Collage is captivating and totally unique, featuring an incredible range of performers presenting one riveting work after another. Over 300 students from the School will perform on the concert, along with many of our world-class faculty members, making this our most spectacular event of the year. With performances taking place all around the auditorium and special lighting effects, it’s a non-stop evening of amazing performances you won’t want to miss!

Collage is always completely sold out, so mark your calendar and plan to get your tickets in advance (all seating is reserved).
